Description
I am always fascinated by the geometry of plants. We were on a visit to Denver's Botanic Gardens when I was captivated by a grouping of succulents. This was when the sun was low in the sky, a time of day I call 'the Golden Hour.' For this painting, I went with a slightly different take on the same phrase...'the Shining Hour.'
