Description
My goal here was to take a step away from my usual tactic, and to try something in a more loose style. Also, I wanted to show motion with blurred focus. Two pine needles in the foreground are being blown by a passing breeze.

Hunter, I think I bought the original of this piece, "Mountain Echoes" here in Denver from a frame shop. I "petted" it and it "feels like the original. I LOVE IT. I admired it for months and the shop owner no longer displayed it when I went to buy it. He had taken it home. I insisted on buying it and now it is at my home in Denver. I am proud to own this extraordinary work of are. Would like to find a companion piece. Thank you. All enjoy it!

Interesting. Was the frame shop in Lowry? No matter, I am happy you enjoy it so much. My partner loved it too; so much that I painted another for him which is on this site, called "Solstice." It was hanging in a coffee shop on loan and someone vandalized it (knifed a gash through the middle of it). So now he only has the giclee. I will have to do another one very soon. Thanks for all the kind comments.

love how much beauty you found in something so small and common- and it's even cooler that you placed it where it belongs, instead of on a plain white surface with the desk light shining straight at it, which is how I usually draw them
